Effetto Mariposa Caffelatex Sealant sold in 250ml or 1000ml bottles. This product sits in the middle of the scale. It has a good life expectancy and will seal punctures of up to 5ml on MTB tyres and 3mm on road tyres (because of the higher pressures involved with road tyres). The product works in a unique way – the rotation of a tyre causes it to bubble and foam, entirely coating the inner surface of the tyre. The manufacturers claim that by doing this, it is more effective in sealing sidewall cuts when compared to other, non-foaming sealants. Top-up recommended every 6-8 weeks in summer, every 8-12 weeks in winter.
